Information About Stock Springs
Stock Compression Springs
Stock compression springs are coil springs with pitch in between each wound coil. They are the most common type of stock spring.
Stock Torsional Springs
Stock torsion springs are close wound radial springs with legs coming off the body. Used when a rotational energy store is needed.
Stock Extension Springs
Stock extension springs are close wound coil springs with hooks at each end. Meant to be pulled apart by external forces on the hooks.

Stock conical/tapered springs are compression springs with variable diameters throughout their body. They are usually custom springs due to the variability of their body.
